BCIRPU faculty, research staff, fellows, and student employees will be working remotely until further notice.

Further to our previously announced measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in light of the continuing evolving situation, BCIRPU staff will be working remotely until further notice.

As UBC and PHSA continue to navigate the response to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and in support of social distancing protocols, BCIRPU faculty, research staff, fellows, and student employees, will continue to work from home.

The first month of this situation has demonstrated that that the work from home arrangement, while not ideal, has resulted in continuity of work, timely communications, and progress of most ongoing projects. We continue to make every effort to ensure that our commitments to timelines and deliverables proceed as agreed.

On behalf of the BCIRPU team, I would like to thank you for your ongoing support and understanding. We wish you and yours all the very best as we navigate this unusual situation, and look forward to brighter days ahead.

Regards,

Dr. Ian Pike, Director, BC Injury Research and Prevention Unit
