Cataracts are the leading cause of vision impairment among seniors.
The objective of this project was to identify which modalities are used to disseminate information by injury prevention organizations in Canada. This knowledge would assist BCIRPU in developing a modality for communicating injury prevention research findings with decision makers in the regional health authorities.
To determine the extent to which federal, provincial, and territorial legislation has been developed for injury reduction, this project will provide an inventory of injury prevention-related legislation at the federal, provincial, and territorial levels.
